She made her acting debut when she played the lead role in a movie titled ‘Lara And The Beat’. The movie also featured many Nigerian celebrities who are were not known to be actors, such as DJ Xclusive and Vector The Viper. The movie told the story of a young girl who despite everything she’s been through is able to follow her dreams. She played the role well to the extent that it got nominated for awards.
3. Vector Ad
Superstar rapper Vector joins the list of artistes who have appeared on the screen not only on music visuals but in a movie. Alongside Seyi Shay who acted as Lara was Vector who played the role of her boyfriend. He delivered amazing well as an actor that one would think he had been acting for years. He also had a hand in making the movie a massive success and definitely got most of the praises of fans as they watched the movie.
4. Omawumi
Omawumi’s name cannot be left out from this list, as she can be said to be an example of an all round entertainer. Since 2013 when she made her debut in a movie titled ‘Heart Of Gold’. She held her own alongside other top Nollywood actors including Yvonne Nelson and Francis Odega who were already established at that time. She undoubtedly contributed to the success of the movie.
