A popular Nigerian pastor, relationship expert, author and speaker, Ezekiel Atang has died at the age of 49.
His friend and South Africa-based Pastor, Charles Awuzie, confirmed Atang’s demise in a Facebook post on 21 February 2022.

Pastor Atang was the founder and Senior Pastor of God’s House Of Refuge. The cause of his death remains unknown.
Pastor Atang remained a major voice in the country, and beyond, as regards marital advice which gave rise to his popular programme “Singles Frank Talk”.
He has written several books including ‘Understanding Sex’, ‘Road signs to Destiny’, ‘Overcoming Masturbation’ and ‘Lord I am still single why?’
Born 14 March 1972, Pastor Atang founded God’s House Of refuge on 16 April 2006.

He also founded Fresh Wine for Couples International, an organisation that sought to enrich marriages and relationships through seminars, conferences and Marriage Schools. The conferences have been held in places like Philadelphia, Chicago, Ghana, and so on.
Atang hailed from Ikot Udota in Eket local government area of Akwa Ibom state. He was the 4th child born into the family of Lt. Cdr. Friday and Head-Sister Rebecca Friday Atang.
Atang, according to his mother, was born in a church, in the city of Lagos, at about 6 pm.
He had his primary education in Nigerian Navy Primary school, Apapa, Malu road, Lagos.
He began his secondary education at Etinan Institute and concluded from the prestigious Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene.
Atang proceeded to the University of Calabar where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Marketing.
He is married to a medical practitioner, recording artiste, singer, songwriter, and co-pastor Dr Dara Atang and their union is blessed with three children: Levi, Olive and Ephraim.
