Memory fusion enables you to use some of the phone’s free storage space as extra RAM. The TECNO Spark 8 series is one of the most reasonably priced Android phones you can purchase with good features. The Spark 8C’s design is appealing; it has a textured finish on the right side and the writing “Stop at nothing Slogan” at the bottom. The back of it has curved edges that make it comfortable to handle. The phone’s 6.6-inch size made it easy for me to handle and operate with just one hand.
At the back, in the camera portion, there is an embedded fingerprint reader. There were no issues during my usage, and it was quick and simple to get to. We have two cameras in the back, each with a flashlight positioned next to it.
There are various color choices, however we only have the turquoise option at this time. I like how there’s just a hint of pale green there. Since plastic is more durable than paper, it is wrapped with plastic at the back. Additionally, the color I chose is fantastic at concealing stains. The TPU case gives the phone a little extra defense. We also have a bottom-firing mono speaker and a microphone for calls in addition to a micro USB connector for charging.

Display aspect
It’s interesting that some costly phones don’t have a high refresh rate on their displays, yet this cheap phone does. It accelerates in the eye. The screen is 6.6 inches in size with a 720p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Despite being an IPS LCD, it was still clearly visible in the sun. The maximum brightness of the display is 300 nits, as would be expected for a phone in this price range.
The phone’s chin and bezels are prominent, particularly the one at the bottom. When scrolling over the display, there were no problems at all and it was responsive. It was even better with a 90Hz refresh rate. It was amazing to watch videos and play games on the display. One of the TECNO Spark 8C’s most notable characteristics is its display.
Performance
The Unisoc T606 served as the chipset for TECNO in this regard. Although the chipset is unsuitable for gaming, it handles scrolling through social media very well. Even with the increased RAM provided by memory fusion, the slowness was still noticeable when I played games like Alto’s Odyssey and Subway Surfer. The phone is a budget phone with the option to increase the RAM; it is not a gaming phone.
The memory fusion shows off its capabilities when I opened several apps, and they ran smoothly in the background. We used memory fusion to increase the RAM from 3 to 6GB. In this pricing range, no phone is available with 6GB of RAM. It is one of the Spark 8C’s unique features.
Software
The phone’s operating system is Android 11, and its user interface is HiOs 7.6. Some pre-installed apps and intrusive push notifications from the apps are included. If you turn on the internet, there are sporadic advertisements on the phone as well. Some of the apps’ ability to send out push notifications can be disabled or eliminated.
There are numerous elements that allow you to alter how the UI appears. In addition to many other features, we have a gaming mode and peek proof to protect your display from prying eyes. Even if the software isn’t perfect, TECNO keeps enhancing it.

Battery
Despite being a heavy user, I was unable to drain the phone’s 5000 milliampere battery in a single day, even with the 90Hz refresh rate turned on. If you are a light or occasional user, you can obtain two days’ worth of battery life or more. It takes somewhat longer than two hours to fully charge the Spark 8C, and I believe a 15W charger would have been more effective. It has an excellent battery life and holds up well.
